The Kambar, 1 Wheeler St., Cambridge

On foot
From Lion Yard, leave via the exit at the library/public convenience, go straight past Club CoCo (careful of the townies and trendies), turn right and immediately left again. You are at the Corn Exchange, the Kambar is on the same side about 20 yards further on, roughly opposite the Corn Exchange Box Office. It's between an internet cafe and a noodle bar and has a shop window and a banner advertising the hire of the club over the door. Go through two sets of doors, turn left, pay at the table in the corner and go upstairs to the bar.

By bus:
Walk to the end of the bus station and walk through the shopping passage. At its end, cross the St Andrew's Street, turn right and immediately left again (between shops and a church) towards Lion Yard (largish shopping centre). Walk straight through Lion Yard and follow the directions above). If Lion Yard is closed by the time you get there, turn left on St. Andrew's St, take the next right and then walk down the second on the right until you've reached the Kambar.

By car:
Not advisable. If you really need to, follow signs for City Centre and Lion Yard car park. The exit from the car park is next to the Lion Yard exit in the directions above. Parking will be £3 all night.
From the South and the M11: Leave at Junction 11 and head towards Cambridge at the roundabout. You're on Trumpington Road, keep on this road for a number of lights until you come to two mini roundabouts. Go straight over both of them onto Trumpington St. Follow the signs for Lion Yard car park and then follow the foot directions above.

By train:
Best to take a taxi, there will be plenty just outside the station.
The Kambar is about a 30 minute walk from the station.
